Peter Pan


So, I'm lying in bed sick right now. What better time to blog? These photos really needed to be put up, too. They're a few weeks old.  


I have a HUGE obsession with peter pan collars lately and this is currently one of my favorite dresses. It's black velvet with a crocheted peter pan collar. I wanted to style it a little different than I usually do so I wore this ruffle sweater over it but left the collar popping out. I even fooled my hubby into thinking it was a new sweater! Ha.


And...I'm wearing my dot tights again. I can't get enough of them!


P.S. I took Ethan to Tucano's for his birthday dinner (super sweet of me being a vegetarian and all, right?) He loved it! He even dared eat a chicken heart...yuck.

Pop Of Color


I decided I'd better get around to putting these photos up! It's my Hubby's birthday today so I'll be quick ;)
He took all these photos (he takes most of my photos just because he's around the most) and I think they turned out awesome! Especially the shoe shots! I saw these heels and HAD to have them. I love a shoe with a good pop of color! Especially with the rest of the outfit being neutral.

Be Mine


Did everyone have an awesome Valentine's Day?! Ethan and I sure did! We went out to dinner at an immigrant Italian restaurant in Salt Lake and went to an awesome Cursive concert afterwards :) Ethan's not really into Cursive like I am, but he's a sweetheart and took me anyway. I'm so lucky to be married to such a sweet, thoughtful, funny guy. I'm so glad he chose me!

Who, Me?!


I'm proud to announce that the lovely Brandi of Run Style Run has presented me with my first blogger award!! Drum roll, please...


The Liebster award (a German word meaning 'favourite') is designed to bring traffic to bloggers who have less then 200 followers. When you receive this award, you are supposed to say 5 things about yourself that people might not know, so here it goes:

1- I'm 99% vegetarian (I can occasionally stomach a little salmon) but not for the usual reasons. I'm generally a picky eater and I just don't like the taste or texture of meat, it grosses me out.

2- I have green eyes! And I'm proud of them. Even though most people think they're blue.

3- I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie and went skydiving the minute I turned 18 and was legally old enough.

4- I got married to the most wonderful, amazing boy when I was a month shy of 20. I always thought I'd wait until I was older but when it happens, you KNOW. (We're going on 2 years now!)

5-  I'm obsessed with frogs. I had one as a pet when I was a kid and I think they're adorable.
