Saturday Night I had the awesome opportunity to attend a Utah Blogger Party hosted by Gentri of Gentri Lee! She hosted it to get the word out about her esthetic business, she's an AMAZING makeup artist and she gives facials and does eyelash extensions too! If you're ever in Draper be sure to visit her at Salon A La Mode!

We talked, ate, got our makeup done, took photos and made new friends. It was SO much fun!!

Happy start of the weekend!!! It should be a good one. I'm attending the Blogger's Beauty Night Out with Gentri Lee on Saturday Night and since I have the cushy banker's schedule I have Monday off for Veteran's Day. LOVE three day weekends! Especially since I work Saturdays.

So here's a pretty casual weekend look for you. This blazer has become my very favorite since I picked it up on vacation last month. Emerald green is one of my favorite colors ever! I love these socks too, just don't tell anyone they're kids socks! Haha.

Also, forgive my camera for making me look whiter than a ghost! The fading sun mixed with harsh flash is no good for my already pale complexion.

Hey all, so I planned on getting this up on Monday. Being as it IS my Inspiration MONDAY post and all. But....things got in the way. My life is super busy right now! It always seems like I'm running, trying to be a million places at once, and I have a never-ending list of things to do! I'm honestly a bit stressed! Time for a massage and a long weekend! (So glad it's Veteran's Day on Monday... hurry up weekend!!)

So, this lovely "Grandpa Sweater" as my sisters and I affectionately call them, is borrowed from Katie of Butterfly Loves Snapdragons. With so many girls and so much swapping going on, I figured I'd just post this one here rather than later on Flock Together. Besides, it worked perfectly with this week's inspiration from the lovely Lauren Conrad!

Yesterday I threw a baby shower for my Sister-In-Law and her gorgeous new baby girl! I'm pretty proud of how it turned out, so I decided to resurrect Craft Sunday and share it with you guys!

She didn't have a regular shower before because she likes the sex of her babies to be a surprise until they arrive! She now has two beautiful girls! Brooklyn Marie Bellows was born September 28 and it had been almost a month with no shower, so I decided to take it upon myself! My Amazing Mom let me use her house and helped me pull it all together the night before! (Ha. I'm a HUGE procrastinator)

I found the design for the cute clouds on Pinterest. They're made of white tissue paper and the rain drops are scrapbook paper! We also used scrapbook paper to make little shoes for the party favors! We had quite a few balloons so we made some into pacifiers. And for refreshments we had a make-your-own-mini-cupcake-bar and glasses of milk!

The activity was my favorite! We had a bunch of plain white onesies and cute scraps of fabric (kindly donated by my MIL) that we cut cute stencils out of and ironed on!! (using fusible-iron-on-backing-stuff - VERY technical) Everyone had a blast with this one and she brought home some super cute custom onesies and a few burp clothes!

And since silly me didn't get ONE pic of the beautiful baby girl, here's a photo from a few days earlier. Too bad it doesn't capture her pretty eyes and full head of dark hair!!

Happy Halloween last night!! Hope you all had a good one and did something fun! Just wanted to share our costume with you :) The Hubby and I went as a '50s housewife and milkman (totally scandalous) I had so much fun dressing up for this one!! The dress is vintage, circa 1950's from my Grandma's closet! I can just squeeze into it and I'm always looking for an excuse to wear it!

My mom and I made the milk bottles from empty Starbuck's Frappuccino bottles and a cute wire basket she had on hand. We even made cute labels and filled the bottles with baking powder and water for the milk & hot chocolate powder and water for the chocolate milk! It was really fun and the only thing I had to pay for was the bow-tie and cap for my Hubby. The cap was $2 at a thrift store and I just wrote on it with sharpie.

Slacker me is sitting here posting my Inspiration Monday late, while my family yells at me to come carve pumpkins. And I really do want to carve my pumpkin, so let's make this quick, shall we?!

This week's inspiration is Ashley Madekwe, whom I've admittedly never heard of. I would LOVE to own her top, but since I don't and it's far too cold for that anyway I brought out my ruffly black peplum jacket and left the sparkle to my bow flats!

Oh! And this is my new hair!! A subtle-as-possible melt that my lovely sister did for me! She did an AMAZING job!! I LOVE it. (and I never ever change my hair or do anything risky with it) If you live in Utah County go see Kaity at Ella Bloom in Lindon. She's my talented little sis :)
